Eyes glanced annoyed around; the queue only seemed to have become bigger and bigger. Aiden tightly gripped the new mp3 he was currently intending to buy. Utter boredom was the cause. He sighed, slowly rubbing his forehead as some clumsy woman dropped all the food she had bought about a minute ago. God, why was this taking everybody so incredibly long? He just wanted one single mp3 player. Time passed at an agonizingly slow rate. And the queue had only gained more people. He rolled his eyes, ignoring the stares of people at his rather unusual clothing. Seriously, hadn’t they learned that staring at people you don’t know can lead to particularly difficult situations? Or perhaps he was merely a bit messed up in his mind. That wouldn’t surprise him at all, however. Then, with a large twirl of his coat, he strode away, taking large steps, once his patience had obviously worn thin. He held his form high, gazing around to find the exit of this mall he didn’t know. “Ah, there it is”, he silently murmured against himself, moving towards the large doors already. If he couldn’t buy it, he’d take it. Simple.

Suddenly, the guy stopped and seemed to become smaller, less obvious to all the customers around him. The first idea wasn’t smart in the least, he mentally scolded himself, wasn’t it one of the most important rules to never draw attention to yourself? Honestly, he couldn’t remember. He didn’t care anyway. Though he wasn’t stupid, if he was to just walk outside with something trivial like the puny mp3 player he held in his hand, a police pursuit would surely follow seeing as people nowadays called whatever help-line they can get for the most stupid, minor things. And Police chasing after him was something he absolutely couldn’t afford right now. Aiden absently stroked his left side; that shotwound still hadn’t completely healed after two months, he really couldn’t do such things right now. He walked to a large basket, filled with all kinds of technological garbage, as he viewed it, and threw the mp3 player in it.

Cassie walked into the mall. She loved to get some free time away from the guys. You know, have her own time. She had a platnum credit card which was great for the way she shopped. Cassie had no idea of what she wanted to do. SO she walked into her favorite hair shop to get her hair cut. She signed in, took a magizene to read while waiting and took a seat while waiting to be called.

He silently walked a bit further, randomly watching some people. It didn't really matter in the first place, but it was not as if he had something else to do. Suddenly, he stiffened as a peculiar girl was waiting in a hair shop. Vampire, his mind screamed at him. A determined look now became apparent in his eyes, his body tensed as he took calm steps towards the girl, seating himself next to her.

Cassie was looking at some prepy girls in the magizine when she saw someone approach her. She looked up from her magazine. She smiled at the guy and said, "hello, sir. How are you today?" She stared at him for a long time. She thought he looked strange. The man gave her a worried feeling inside that she didn't understand, until it hit her. Oh no, a vampire hunter! I have Maxes scent all over me... I hope he doesn't think im a vampire... There is no way i can get away from him and if Maxie comes looking for me, he'd try to kill Max, i wont let that happen.

“Ah, I’m fine, thank you... And yourself?” He brightly smiled at her as he carefully watched the strange girl. She reeked of vampire. Awful. Aiden slowly tilted his head from left to right, cracking his neck. “So, are you doing anything after your new haircut?” his voice sounded curious and friendly, though he of course wasn’t in the least. Dang, never had he expected to encounter a vampire here in the mall. He shifted his position, sitting sideways over the chair, so he could fully gaze over that peculiar girl. "I wonder", he silently started, narrowing his eyes at her, "where do you come from?"

"Im well." Cassie wanted to scream but she didnt. She was going to keep calm and run if she had to. She wouldnt make it far but she would try. Cassie smiled warmly to hide her worry, "why would you want to know where i am from? If you must know, i am from here, Boston. I have lived here with my mother, who died a while age, and aunt and uncle ever since i was five." Thankfully, Cassie heard her name get called. She got up, "well, thats me. Farewell." She pulled out her cell phone and texted Max:

Hey love, its me, Cassie. Theres a vampire hunter in the mall. He is driving me nuts. Tell Sanjay and the others to keep a look out. I'll be home soon. Im getting a haircut. If im not home in a hour then come to the mall to look for me. I love you Maxie, see ya soon.

She quickly put her phone in her bra and walked over to the lady that called her and took a seat. She was going to have a few inches taken off her hair and have it washed with the best shampoo they had.

She was done in forty five minutes and the man was still there. In 15 minutes Max and Sanjay would come look for her and she would be ok. Maybe Venka would come also. Then she would be alright. For now she would stay in the public, he wouldnt make a scene around people, or would he...? Cassie walked over to a crowded store, Sears, and walked very fast to the middle of the crowd. There were so many people here, the half of sale was today. Wow, people couldnt afford normal prices. Im so lucky in rich. I would have to go to sales to buy crappy clothes if i didnt have money.
